Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to classic, old boleros, and traditional romantic, ranchero and ballads of romance. Ana is passionate about singing tangos as well as operas. Also, she loves drama performances. Ana started learning how to sing as well as play musical instruments from an early age, along alongside her mother. The formal vocal instruction when she was 16 years old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The singer continued her education in the field of music in the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a musician and student. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has for performing, painting, and performing has her participating in a myriad of local activities in the roles of teacher and performer. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as along with an active member of Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful being able be able to share her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to help keep the music alive.
